How do I make payments in installments?

Say you would like to spread out your rent payment by paying it in installments to Place and at the end of the month want us to combine it all into one rent payment to mail your landlord. We can do this. We are working on making it an easier process but for now we do have a workaround.

Here’s how with an example assuming 4 weeks in that month and you pay $800 a month:

First - Change your rent amount to the portion you would like to pay week one. In this case, it would be $800/4= $200. To see how to edit a rent amount click here.
 
Next, pay that amount. Immediately after, change the amount due to the total you want to have paid by week 2. So in this example, it would be $400; $200 for week 1 and $200 for week 2. This will keep the invoice active. If you don't change the rent amount right away the payment will process and become un-editable for the following weeks. So it is crucial that you raise the rent amount as soon as you pay each week.

When week 2 arrives, pay the amount that is listed - which will be the next $200 due to meet the $400 payment. Immediately after, again change the amount due to the total you want to have paid by week 3. This would be, $200 times 3 so $600.

In week 3 pay the amount that is listed, again an additional $200. Immediately after, update the total rent payment to $800 so that in week 4 you can pay the last $200 remainder.
