Here is an animated gif that shows how to navigate to the lease details and put a block on all future payments for a resident. This block can be lifted whenever you choose by navigating to the same drop-down menu.
Note: You can only block payments on the lease level. So if there are multiple roommates, all roommates will be blocked from making payments
