How do I add a custom name or ID number to a lease?

A title is automatically assigned to every lease created on Place. By default, that title is the first names of the tenants on that lease. If you would rather identify leases by an account or ID number or anything else, you can!

Click on the particular property, beneath 'All Properties' in the left hand column. Click on either the tenant's name to edit the current settings or by default 'No Tenants', to create the lease. 



To add a 'Lease Name or ID', view the section named 'Advanced Options', then click 'Create'. Then you're all set!



Once you've updated this, you will be able to search for a payment by just searching for that assigned name you have given it. Also, when scrolling through your payments stream you will see the custom identifier clearly displayed next to each payment for that particular lease.
